Integrated Humanitarian Assistance For Flood Affected Populations towards Livelihood Restoration and Meeting Early Recovery Needs In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan (ADH-2)

To improve the humanitarian situation of flood-affected  households through the provision of an intergrated multi sectoral recovery assistance in the 3 most affected districts of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Province (KPK).CARE International support the restoration of livelihoods of the most flood-affected people, rehabilitate essential water and sanitation infrastructure, and carry out Community Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) activities. All activities are closely co-ordinated with the target population, provincial and district government and the IASC Cluster system.

Objectives:

To provide support in restoration of livelihoods, address recovery and transition needs of the most flood-affected people through rehabilitation of livelihood and water/sanitation systems and flood prevention and preparedness

Outcomes:

Providing support to flood affected persons through restoration/reviving of their livelihoods in three districts of KPK.

Flood affected people receive access to water sanitation and hygiene services and facilities in three districts of KPK.

Providing enabling environment to the floods affected people through different DRR inititatives, advocacy, institutional building and strengthening, capacity building, awareness and networking at three districts and provincial level of KPK.
