Humanitarian Assistance in Sindh (BMZ-2)

CARE International Pakistan launched a response to the floods on August 2nd. The strategy aimed to provide assistance to approximately 300,000 people within the first six months in Sindh, Punjab and KPK, transiting progres-sively into a nine-months early recovery phase. This project needed to be seen in conjunction with one other BMZ-funded project under the same title in Sindh; including food delivery to to 7000 families for 3 months. 

Objectives:

 Flood affected households are able to recover from the floods and to meet their basic daily food needs
 Flood affected families have access to improved water and sanitation facilities
 Livelihood opportunities created for households to meet their basic needs
