about care

Education

An extraordinarily large number of the populations living in both rural and urban areas in Pakistan are illiterate, with women constituting more than half of that population.

Hence, we believe in promoting gender-sensitive education policies by working proactively with the government to improve girls’ enrolment in primary school and improved transition to secondary education.

CARE believes that young people are the future of any country. By passing on knowledge and skills, future generations can develop!

A woman’s earnings will be 10-20% higher for every year of school completed.
